About Brian Tucker Bresnahan
Brian Tucker Bresnahan was born and raised in Brattleboro, Vermont, attended high school at Northfield Mount Hermon (Northfield, MA), studied Civil Engineering and Ethnological Anthropology at Union College (Schenectady, NY), and conducted independent studies while on host stays in Barbados, Japan and China.
After graduation, he moved to Portland, Oregon, to create Wilderness Adventure Documentaries and to enroll in Independent Film Making studies at the Northwest Film Institute, as well as Graphic Design and Multimedia Programs at Portland Community College. Bresnahan transitioned to independent contracting in the commercial film industry as a Set Grip and Electrician for national television advertisements and feature films.
Looking to enrich his photography and cinematography skills, Bresnahan then moved to Santa Barbara, CA, and enrolled in the Commercial Photography and Masters of Science Programs at the renowned Brooks Institute of Photography.
In 2005, Bresnahan relocated to an artists' community in Boston, MA, where he has been a contributing member ever since. In addition to pursuing his commercial photography career, Bresnahan has expanded into public art projects, contemporary lighting designs, and kinetic fine art installations.
Bresnahan now provides professional photography services to a wide variety of educational, corporate, and private clientele, as well as exhibiting his personal work in public settings, galleries, corporate venues, restaurants and salons.
